Dcember 25th, the one year anniversary of their passing friends, neighbors,
Police officers and family laid wreaths and came to pay respect to two great guys

May,2007 Mothers Day a local track event was held in Lincoln Park to honor both
police officers.

December 29, 2006 marks the 1 year passing and date of Roberts recovery a Blue
mass and bridge memorial was held in the city attended by family and police officers.

On December 25, 2005  A faulty signal on a bridge in Jersey City resulted in the loss
of life of Robert Nguyen and Shawn Carson. Two Jersey City Emergency Service
Unit Police Officers. These pages are dedicated to the two police officers, who were
friends and respected members of the community.











April 22, 2006 two gardens were planted in Columbia Park in the Greenville area of
Jersey City by students, fellow police officers, residents and public officials in the
memory of Robert and Shawn


May 9, 2006 a Police Unity tour was organized to cycle to Washington DC and
stopped by the bridge where the officers lost their life, to pay tribute


May 25, 2006 at 10AM, the near 6th month anniversary of their passing was marked
by the dedication of the two gardens planted on April 22nd. On hand was: the Mayor
and Council, County and City Department heads, State, County and  City police
officers, Greenville district public school children, charter and day care students,
Local High Schools, Area Residents and Sponsors of this project.
